Start with numbers you know.
Give each entry a recognisable name, enter an amount in pounds and choose whether it is a one-off, monthly or yearly figure. Quantity lets you record more than one item at the same price. The totals are arithmetic based only on what you type.
A one-off amount stays separate from recurring totals. A monthly amount is multiplied by twelve for a yearly estimate; a yearly amount is divided by twelve for a monthly average. These averages help compare your entries, rather than predict when money leaves your account.

A total is a starting point.
The monthly view is an average, not a payment schedule. An item bought once a year may appear in the monthly average even though you do not buy it every month. Your actual spending will vary when the inputs or purchase timing changes.
Edit an amount as better information becomes available, or remove an item you no longer want to include. The tool does not contain Dermique prices, recommend purchases or set an affordable budget for you. You choose the figures and what they mean for your plans.
Make the record useful later.
Export keeps the line items and calculated totals in a JSON file. A note in the item name can distinguish an actual cost from an estimate, which helps if you return to it later. Avoid account details, payment-card information or other sensitive financial data.
Device saving is optional. Keep it off for a quick calculation, or switch it on to restore these entries in this browser. Delete entries when you no longer need them. For a company enquiry, ask directly about current costs and what is included before you decide.
