Work back from the moment.
Choose the occasion date and give the plan a name you recognise. Then add tasks with dates that you choose: checking travel, laying out an outfit, packing your usual items or asking a question. Dates are a written plan, not recommended preparation times.
The timeline sorts tasks by the dates you enter. Mark a task complete when you have done it, edit it when plans move, and remove anything you no longer need. An undated task stays on the list until you choose where it belongs.

An occasion involves more than the beauty details. Think about the journey, how you will get into the venue, what you want to carry and when you need to leave. Add those practical pieces if they affect how you want the day to feel.
This planner records dates and completion state. It does not send notifications, make bookings or contact providers. Check your list when you need it, and use your own calendar if you want a reminder that will alert you.
Keep the useful version.
Once the main tasks are down, look at what can be simplified. A short list of meaningful actions is usually easier to return to than a long list of things you think an occasion should include. The preparation guide offers a separate way to think through timing, packing and personal preferences.
